Phu Quoc Island is situated in the Gulf of Thailand, near the Cambodia border. Heavily forested mountains and white sandy beaches make it a perfect relaxation spot in Southern Vietnam. The most accessible and one of the most attractive is Truong Beach, stretching for nearly 20 km from Dinh Cau to Khoe Tau Ru.

Phú Quốc is the largest island in Vietnam. The island is part of Kiên Giang province, has a total area of 574 square kilometres and a permanent population of approximately 85,000. The district of Phú Quốc includes the island proper and 21 smaller islets.
